At Right C3 we are proud to announce our scholarship winners for the class of 2020. Each of these students participated in a survey to provide feedback on our services. We are excited to share their stories and their accomplishments. Each of these students display the reasons why we do what we do. Our Fourth Prize Winner this year is Jordan Hernandez.
Jordan is an aspiring engineer who plans to attend Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong campus in the Fall. The Armstrong campus was established in 2018, and Jordan really loves how new everything looks and the small school feel on campus. Jordan was very impressed on his college visit and remembers feeling welcomed by those leading the tour.
He credits Right C3 with helping him with his SAT test prep. He told us that he would not have done as well without that help. His test score was one of the factors that helped him be admitted to Georgia Southern and become part of their Honors Program! Right C3 also showed him other college options that he considered. He even visited a couple campuses out of his home state of Georgia to explore the possibilities.
He is excited about his job possibilities after college. Jordan credits his grandfather and his apprenticeship for putting him on the path to being an electrical engineer. His grandfather works with electrical engineering in the field of aviation. Jordan’s apprenticeship with Gulf Stream was enjoyable and helped him confirm his career path.
In his spare time, Jordan enjoys gaming, building motorized bikes with his dad, and robotics projects. He also has a passion for music and played the saxophone in his high school band. These are a few ways that he connects with others, learns new skills, and spends his valuable time.
One of Jordan’s favorite quotes is, “The only problem in life is time.” Now, Jordan is looking toward his next steps on the road of life. He is looking forward to the whole experience at Georgia Southern as well as connecting with his new classmates. We wish Jordan the best of luck as he starts his college journey. We hope for great success with his academics and his future career!
