Right C3 is excited to announce the First Prize winner of our Senior Survey Scholarship Contest! Autumn Bachman of Scottsdale, Arizona was awarded $250. In the fall she will attend Grand Canyon University.
She chose this university for several reasons. When she visited,she was impressed by the campus and overall atmosphere. GCU is a Christian school and that was very important to her as she selected her educational path. Since she participated in pre-enrollment, she was able to meet her roommate very early and receive a scholarship. She is excited to study Secondary English Education for her bachelor’s degree at GCU.
She was partially inspired in her career by her junior year English teacher. Autumn said the teacher was her role model.” She loved her job and loved teaching students,” Autumn said. Autumn worked with this teacher a lot her senior year since she was her teacher assistant for the year.
Autumn also has a great love of music. She was in choir throughout her middle school and high school years. She also joined an acapella group at her high school during her last two years. Autumn is grateful to her friends and teachers for helping to make high school such a positive experience.
She shared that “Right C3 has helped me immensely with college preparation. From reminders of scholarship and testing deadlines, to helping me pick the career that’s the perfect fit for me. I’ve gained a better understanding of my career path and can’t wait to further my education at Grand Canyon University!”
Autumn is a friendly, bubbly person who will continue to spread joy as she begins college. Her grandmother, who she currently lives with, is very proud of her. Autumn’s grandmother has taught her to be kind and it really shows! We wish her great success as she learns and grows.
