Right C3 Announces the Tanya Madison Morrison 2019 Scholarship Winner

While working at Right C3, Tanya Madison Morrison impacted the lives of students, families, coworkers, and friends. She was well known, loved and admired by the members of our company. Her willingness to serve our families with kindness made an impression those who found themselves in her presence. Her ability to share her talent with fellow team members continues to lead so many to excel. Tanya ultimately lost her battle with cancer, but the continued hope and positivity she had is still felt to this day. Right C3 honors her memory by holding a $1,500 scholarship essay contest in her name.

Right C3 is proud to announce that Julie Yoon is the 2019 recipient of this scholarship. Julie will be attending her University of California - Irvine this fall. This has been her top-choice school since she visited the campus in her 8th grade year. She enjoys the cleanliness of the campus, their strong medical program, and the proximity to home so she can visit her mother on the weekends.

Julie is looking to take advantage of UC Irvine’s medical programs to reach her goal of becoming a physician assistant in the oncology field. She always liked the medical field, but was driven toward that goal after her father passed away due to cancer during her time in high school. Her father’s passing not only impacted her career choice, it gave her motivation to help other people in need. Julie is the Founder and President of the Cancer Awareness Club at her high school. Through the club, she has been able to support fellow students who have endured the struggle of having ill family members, and also raise money through the Livestrong Foundation to help support cancer patients. The club also helps connect people and communities with the services they need to help combat cancer.

Julie is also President of the Korean Club and has logged over 250 community service hours, which has earned her the Presidential Volunteer Service Award through her school. She is also ranked in the top 5 percent of her graduating class. In her spare time, she enjoys tanning, snowboarding, hanging out with her friends, and travelling to other countries when she has the opportunity.

Julie was able to take advantage of the resources offered through our Right C3 program. Along with the research tools for careers and colleges, Julie extensively used the test preparation material to help raise her SAT score. Combined with her strong academics, her improved test scores helped her on her way toward getting in to her top-choice school. We wish her the best of luck on her college and career journey!
